Courgette Polpetti

Made these Courgette Polpetti this week from a recipe by Hugh Fernley-Whittingstall.
I will do them again as they were really tasty. You can serve them hot or cold but I think they would be better hot.

Finally Finished Peach Socks

Ta Da!!

I've finally finished these peach socks. They have been on the needles for so long, I know its good to have a lot of projects on the go and always to have at least one unfinished item, but I'm pleased to finish these. I'm not very satisfied as they are very small and even the smallest person in out household finds them a bit tight. They are for someone who takes a size 2, 3 or 4 shoe. I think they have come out so small because of the tightness of my fair isle work. One day a tiny footed person will visit and claim them!
Until then, here they are!

Recycled Carrier Bags

I made this phone case with 'plarn', which is yarn made from plastic bags. The pattern is from Knit Today magazine December 2010.
I found the phone case a bit scratchy so I've lined it.
